European Commission Study on Building Permits: Survey & workshop invitation

The ACE (Architects' Council of Europe) is inviting you to participate in a study on digital building permits, conducted by a consortium led by VTT on behalf of the European Commission (DG GROW).

The study – “Study on the State of Play of Building Permits for Housing in the EU” – aims to assess permitting procedures with a focus on administrative efficiency, digitalisation, and their impact on housing supply and construction sector competitiveness. The results will contribute to the upcoming Affordable Housing Plan and related EU initiatives.

The survey takes approximately 10–15 minutes to complete and is also available in the national language. Your responses will be treated confidentially and used only for analytical purposes. Your contribution is essential to ensure that the study accurately reflects real-world practices and challenges across Europe.
